Our prayers are with you!
Virtually no one in Southeast Texas made it through Harvey unscathed. If we ourselves didn’t experience devastating losses, we all know someone who did. Many of our ministry friends—volunteers, supporters, board members, and staff—have suffered great loss. For them and all who’ve been affected, we pray that the peace and presence of God would be very real as we all take the first steps towards rebuilding.
Even after Harvey, please “remember the prisoners.”
We understand the massive needs that surround us, but even as we are doing what we can for our communities, the core ministry of C.H.A.R.M. must continue. We are still providing housing for many ex-offenders in our six transitional homes. We are still visiting inmates and have many upcoming prison events. Prison units we serve are asking for our help, especially for indigent supplies.
Because of Harvey, we will not be hosting a large fundraiser as we have in the past. But, we still need funds to keep our transitional houses open and our prison outreach events going. We realize it is a terribly difficult time for us all, but we would be so grateful for your help.
