JOIN OUR CAPITAL CAMPAIGN and help us triple the number of men we serve as they transition out of prison and back into society. By utilizing our own campus, we’ll greatly reduce the cost per transitional resident.
The need… Upon release, ex-offenders have no home, no job, and just the clothes on their back with a bus ticket and 50 bucks in their pocket. They hit the street unprepared to return to society, and many go back to their old friends and bad habits. Immersed in chaotic instability, over 76% of them will be arrested again within five years. To break the cycle, they first need a safe, stable, supportive place to live.
When men get the support they need, they can….
Focus on changing the course of their life
Get training and employment
Reconcile with family
Become active in their church and community
Step out into the world prepared for a brighter future
The Step Back into Society Led by staff committed to modeling Christ-centered relationships, our transitional homes provide a stable foundation where lives can be rebuilt. From here, our residents can make a smooth reentry into society, fully trusting in God’s ability to provide and to guide as their lives and families are restored. With their new understanding of genuine freedom, they go on to influence and offer hope to others.
Our Goal With our own campus, we can triple the number of men we serve and greatly reduce the cost per resident.
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold the new has come. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making His appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God." (2 Corinthians 5:17-21)
